Our 3M high performance masking tape 2693 offers a high level of paint masking performance with high solids paints and urethane clear coats used in the transportation industry where its holding power resists the most stringent applications and bake cycles. 3M high performance masking tape 2693 has been laboratory tested on painted steel panels and found to remove cleanly at bake temperatures up to 325 °F/163 °C for 30 min. - Scotch high performance masking tape 2693 is a smooth, heavy-duty, mini-crepe paper masking tape suitable for most paint masking applications. Designed for automotive, truck and bus applications where very aggressive room temperature and high temperature holding is required. Easy, clean removal when either warm or cold from most surfaces without adhesive transfer.

- Should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight exposure as tape may become very difficult to remove
- Natural rubber adhesive bonds well to paper, metal, drywall, wood and painted surfaces with reliable holding power that resists lifting and curling
- Under normal operating conditions our tape features one piece removal and is sliver resistant
- Designed for automotive, truck and bus applications, where very aggressive room temperature and high temperature holding is required
