Our Scotch® Bi-Directional Filament Tape 8959 is a high strength, general purpose, clear fiberglass-reinforced tape with a synthetic rubber resin adhesive ideal for heavy box closure and cross web splicing. This tape resists center-seam splitting in RSC box closure applications. Our synthetic rubber resin adhesive provides high adhesion to most surfaces. - Fiberglass filaments run in bi-directional pattern, providing high tensile strength across the width and length of the tape. Extra security with filaments down the length and across the width, tape is difficult to hand tear in any direction. Ideal strength for heavy weight packages and overseas/export packing and shipping.
