3M Scotch-Weld epoxy adhesive 2290 is designed to coat and bond metal substrates, including steel and aluminum. This epoxy is a low (21% solids) formulation with very low viscosity. B-staging coated and dried parts are optional, allowing final cure up to 3 months later. - 3M Scotch-Weld epoxy adhesive 2290 adhesive can be applied in a variety of methods including brushing, flow coating, dip coating, roll coating, knife coating and spraying. it is ideal for assembling metal laminations and various applications on metal cores, rotors and motors and wire windings.
