Scotch® Tape 24 is a corrosion resistant tape with an aggressive rubber resin adhesive that offers optimized adherence. This tape is highly conformable with the open weave knit construction of copper wire. It stretches easily to adhere on uneven surfaces and is designed for indoor and outdoor applications. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
Scotch® Tape 24 is a 16 mil thick, premium grade electrical tape for use with power cable insulations and high voltage splicing/terminating materials. The open weave, shielding tape withstands a wide temperature range of 32 to 221 °F (0 to 105 °C).
Features
- Tinned copper conductors
- Stable at elevated temperatures
- Compatible with power cable insulations
- Elongates easily to conform to inclined or uneven surfaces
- Compatible with all high voltage splicing and terminating materials
- Unaffected by solvents, UV, ozone and moisture
- Because of its construction, the tape interlocks with the previous layer, thereby assuring a tighter wrap (no solder bead is required)
