The physical and electrical properties of polyimide remain stable when used in such applications as coils, harnesses and capacitors, that are subjected to extreme temperatures. - 3M electrical tape 1093 is a 1 Mil polyimide film backing with silicone thermosetting pressure sensitive adhesive. High temperature applications to 180 °C. High dielectric breakdown.
